Et bildefilformat er en standardmetode for å organisere og lagre bilder på enheter som datamaskiner, nettbrett og smarttelefoner. Digitale bilder lagrer bildedata i 2-dimensjonalt rutenett av piksler der hver piksel er en representasjon av farge i form av antall biter. Rasterformater
